What is in place.
Checked while the site was built.
- Text contrast
Every text-and-background pair was measured against the WCAG formula. Body text sits well above the 4.5:1 minimum.
- Keyboard use
Every link, button, menu and form field is reachable by keyboard, and the focus outline is visible on both the light and green backgrounds.
- Reduced motion
The one animation on the site turns itself off if your device asks for less motion.
- Real headings
Each page has one main heading and a proper structure beneath it, so a screen reader can navigate by section.
- Phone and tablet
Every page is checked at phone width as well as on a desktop.
What is not done yet.
Two things worth knowing.
- No formal audit
The checks above were done by the team building the site. No independent accessibility audit has been carried out.
- Image descriptions are incomplete
Photography is still being added, and not every image has a written description yet.
- Checkout is Shopify’s
The checkout is built and maintained by Shopify, not by us.
