Where can I have custom jewelry designed on Maui?
At Greenleaf Diamonds in the Shops at Wailea. You sit down with us in the store, or over video, and talk through what you want. Greenleaf makes its jewelry in its own studio in Los Angeles, and our jewelers design custom rings for clients across the United States and around the world.
What do I need to bring?
An idea is enough. A description, a photograph, a stone you already own or a piece you never wear are all good places to start. You do not need to arrive with a drawing.
How does it work?
You sit down with us and tell us what you want and what you want to spend. The design is talked through and agreed with you. The piece is made once the design and the price are agreed, and not before. Then it is checked with you before it is handed over. The four steps in full.
How much does custom jewelry cost?
It depends on the stone, the metal and the design, so the price is agreed with you before anything is made. Tell us your budget at the start and we will find the most suitable piece for it, without compromise.
How long does a custom piece take?
Tell us your deadline at the first meeting. If it cannot be done in time you hear that early, before anything is agreed, and timing is confirmed with you before work begins.
Can you design something Hawaiian?
Yes. Island designs such as plumeria and palm trees are in the case now, and a custom piece can take any theme you bring us.
Can you reuse a stone or gold I already own?
Yes. A stone you own can be reset into a new piece, and old gold is worth asking about. See redesigning a piece you own and old gold.
Can you make an engagement ring?
